Goodbye 2016!

Wow! 2016 has been a crazy year, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been a year full of adventure and fun! Here are some of my adventures from this year. Let's hope 2017 will be a great year too!

Caroling

Today was one of the many reasons why I love the Christmas season. My friends and I had the opportunity to go caroling at the Chancellor Gardens retirement home. I had an amazing time! As we were singing, I felt a warm feeling in my heart because I knew we were making people happy. That was a rewarding experience.

Quote of the Day #3

“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” -Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)

Light the World

As we get into the Christmas season, we should really focus on helping others and being kind. Nothing brings me more joy than knowing I'm being helpful and making someone happy.  I hope you seize some opportunities to 'light the world'. You are Enough

As we start into a new week, I want you to remember something that will help you have an enjoyable week: You are enough, you are loved, be happy. Do something fun with your family, pay attention to the little things that make you happy, and do something nice for someone. Service can make the heart happy. Have a great week!

Birthday!

Today was my 19th birthday!! It was such a fun day to spend with family. We spent the whole day together.  Life goes by pretty fast, so live in the moment now. I love every minute of today. I have to say that this was the best birthday ever! “Life moves pretty fast, if you blink you'll miss it." -Ferris Bueller

Christmas Time

My favorite month is here! Christmas is an amazing time of year because of the beautiful snowfall and the time to spend the holidays with family. Above all of this, my favorite part of Christmas is doing something nice for someone. That's the magic of Christmas. Remember how happy it makes you this holiday season.
