Mental Health Matters

It's no secret that life is hard, but that doesn't mean it has to be unbearable. Everyone has something they're dealing with, and it's not our job to ridicule them. Someone could be struggling with something that you may not know about.

Mental health should be taken just as seriously as physical health; for example, if someone breaks their leg people immediately go to help, but if someone is suffering from depression or anxiety then they're deemed as attention seeking and sensitive. That's why people suffering with mental health problems don't always come forward because they feel ashamed. People with mental health problems aren't attention seeking or sensitive, they are suffering from a trial that should be taken seriously like a broken leg, a scraped knee, etc. If you know someone struggling with their mental health, please don't make them feel bad about themselves. End the stigma on mental health.
